From a person who read the 1st volume ICND1 100-105 this one is a little bit more complex, not only by the topics but also in the explanation. The book is by no mean a bad one. It is still a great resource for exam preparation or as a reference. It is just not as perfect as the 1st volume and thus the 4 stars.Pros:1-Wendell Odom Style.2-Full Preparation for the exam 200-1053-Relatively cheap compared to other CCNA books.Cons:1- More ambiguous than 100-1052-CD Test sets not working (at least in my case)
Eigentlich hätte es nur 2 Sterne geben dürfen, aber ich wollte nicht zu schlecht bewerten. Denn Wenn ich Bücher bestelle die Angegeben werden als NEU, dann sollte es nicht vorkommen das Bücher beschädigt sind oder die Umverpackung der Bücher schon aus einander fällt.Sonst sehen die beiden Bücher recht neu aus, doch das kann ich auch erst dann beurteilen wenn ich sie durch gearbeitet habe. Auf den Bilder ist zu erkennen was ich meine mit den Beschädigungen. Am Buch ist die Beschädigung nicht groß. Aber dann darf man diese Bücher nicht als NEU verkaufen. Jedoch ist die Umverpackung schon recht schwer beschädigt.

I just received the package with two books and two DVD's ICND1/ICND2.I went through the first part of ICND1, the topics are well explained even for beginners like me.I would easily rate it 5 stars but i was expecting to be coloured printed like the PDF version.There is also a paragraph which refers to the "different coloured blocks" , but there's no colour at all :)
Book is as described. Not color.Very useful for CCNA preparation. Very detailed and informative even for someone who is not learning CCNA.
